The project provides for creation of archeological museum taking into account formed traditions in the sphere of archeological researches in YeSU named after I.A. Bunun and existing findings, archeological discoveries. Creation of the core archeological museum on the municipal scale will contribute to development and successful functioning of special economic zone of tourist-recreation type in Yelets. Realization of the project will facilitate the town to become the leading system forming center of scientific researches, oriented on study of the most important problems of ancient history of the town, region, Central-Black-Topsoil region in tote, including adjoining regions. It will promote the scales of archeological researches in town and region, create more fundamental collection of antiques, and attract more tourists fond of archeology to the region.
